About Us

With the stigma around seeking help being extremely pervasive, access to mental health care in India has barely improved. Even though the field may have improved over the past few decades, its accessibility and reach are still questionable. Minorities, disadvantaged and economically weaker groups still have little to no access to these services even though they are the most vulnerable.

Hello Therapy aims to create a forum where individuals seeking help can find practitioners that can help with their specific needs. Along with that, this forum would also provide resources regarding therapy in order to dispel myths and make it more accessible and approachable.

The Future We Want - Our Vision

The future we envision is a place where mental health is equivalent to physical health. This means that mental health is taken seriously, treated with care and respect and acknowledged as a factor in an individual’s overall wellbeing. In order to reach this stage, some steps need to be taken in the present:

  • Debunking myths around mental illness
  • Increasing access to resources for self awareness
  • Insight on therapeutic process to make it less intimidating
  • Making therapy accessible to all
  • Providing a toolkit for emergencies/crisis support
